The Mount Roland Folk Festival, Sheffield - Nov 13-15 2026

The Mount Roland Folk Festival will run from the evening of Friday 13 Nov until Sunday 15 Nov finishing around 4pm. The three main venues are the Sheffield town hall, the Sheffield Uniting church and the Drill hall with smaller additional venues.

The Festival is a showcase of acoustic and folk music genres featuring local and interstate musicians as well as dance, poetry, workshops and master classes.

We are possibly Australia’s tiniest festival, with only 350 tickets on sale. We will get to know each other before the weekend is out :-)

The festival is a seated concert style event (with Dancing spaces provided) kick your heels up at a dance or whenever music takes hold.

There will be lots of reasons to participate if you feel the urge. Learn at a workshop, jam in a music session, write a poem for the poets breakfasts or join the festival Choir - you won’t be disappointed, in fact you will be thrilled !

The Mount Roland Folk Festival is run by a not for profit, voluntary committee and we are a incorporated association. We have a team of approximately 40 volunteers to help our seven committee members in running a safe and joyful small festival.
